Sue L. Jacks

NEWARK: A visitation for Sue L. Jacks, 69, of Newark, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark. A private burial will be held for the family.

Sue passed away May 30, 2017, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. She was born June 23, 1947, in Newark, to the late Carl Edward and Martha May (Dietz) Stone.

Sue retired from Park National Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert A. Jacks, Jr., whom she married on November 18, 1967; son, Brian N. (Denise) Jacks of Newark; grandchildren, Chelsea, Jacob (Gayle), Briana, Cassidi, Stephanie, and Crystal; uncle, Norman (Donna) Dietz of Newark, and a special mother-in-law, Mary L. Jacks of Newark.
