Timothy Alan Vermillion

NEWARK - A memorial service for Timothy Alan Vermillion, 71, of Newark, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Tim passed away after a hard battle with alzheimer's and dementia, on August 12, 2018, at the Newark Care and Rehabilitation. He was born March 14, 1947, to the late Frederick and Jean (Kappes) Vermillion.

Tim was an Air Force Veteran. He retired from Rockwell Meritor. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating, and was a member of Big Bucks of America.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly June (Mount) Vermillion; daughter, Sherry Bartzen of Newark; sister, Cindy (Richard) Morrison of Nashport; grandson, Dakota Alan Bartzen of Newark; great-granddaughter, Kali Marie Bartzen of Newark; niece, Cassandra Fowler of Florida; nephew, L.T. (Brooke) Miles III of Newark, and several great-nieces.
